So it's a brand new year, so why not kick it off with a brand new site! I'm really stoked about 2012 and as always look forward to a fun year, filled with cool projects.
I'm currently working on a number of brochures and printed materials for various companies, as well as a few sprinter vans for the nursing homes. So I don't have much time to waste!
Please check out the new site. Follow the links to our Facebook, and enjoy!

Here is the first batch of tickets we made for The Best of Louisiana Music Fest. A couple of nice gentlemen are putting together this exciting festival to show off some of Louisiana's best musical acts.
We received the nod to do all of the promotional items and sponsorship items to go along with the festival. It's always fun to work on a project that is in the realm of your own personal interest, and this is definitely in mine.
Also appearing at the festival will be some of the SWAMP People cast, so stay tuned and get your tickets!

Here is a shirt I designed last year for Mardi Gras. I suppose it was good enought that Crewe De Covalt decided to bring it back again this year. Only this year they went no-holds-barred and got tie-dye!I will say that this is by far the most loud t-shirt I've been a part of. So I thought I'd show it off!!!

January is over, so on to February I suppose. I've been doing quite a bit of oilfield related decals lately. Mostly DOT #'s and equpiment tagging decals. Companies in this field are very good about marking/branding all of their equipment before it heads out to location. They like to make sure that their phone number and logo is on every. single. thing.I've also aquire another fun project. I will be doing printed goods for an upcoming music festival (sponsor banners, posters, event tickets, etc). It's always especially fun to work on projects that have connections with your own personal interests and this is definitely the case.
When running a business, especially my type of business, it's hard to spend time & money inward. So far in 2012 I've tried to make a concious effort to allow myself to promote my business, as well as, spice up my place too. I'm in the process of making a GCG flag to hang out front (hopefully I can accompany it with an American, or Acadian flag), I made myself some koozies to give away, I'm making me some new uniform shirts, and I also customizing a banner to stick out front of the shop.
There is another thing I finally got around to doing. Since I moved into my new location in August '10, I've had this big, bare wall in the shop. It needed color. To fill this void, atleast temporarily, I made a 6'x9' banner of a Flaming Lips concert photo. It looks amazing.
As always call if you need anything!

I started work yesterday on Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehab's Sprinter van. This is a special job to me, because I've been working with this facility since the beginning. Pelican Pointe is a brand new facility out in Maurice, LA that just opened it's doors in November, however I began working with Pelican Pointe about 2 years ago.I had the honor of designing Pelican Pointe's logo a year and a half before ground was ever broken for the new facility. Since I've designed brochures and marketing materials and completed a number of other projects for them.
So when it was time to take care of vinyl graphics for the sprinter van I was quite excited. I'm putting a few photos of the work in progress of the van. It isn't completed yet, but phase one is finished. I still have to add some window perf. vinyl as well as other informational graphics.
I'll keep updating it's progress.
